The Microsoft search engine Bing joins the advertising ban cryptocurrency and ICO

After Google, Facebook and Twitter, the search engine Bing from Microsoft prohibit advertising of crypto-currencies and the ICO and will remove any species from its network until the end of July. It is noteworthy that in addition to cryptocurrencies, the ban was associated with cryptocurrency products and unregulated binary options.

«We always assess our strategy to ensure a safe and engaging experience for users of Bing and ecosystem of digital advertising. Because cryptocurrencies and related products not regulated, we decided that they pose risks to our users from the malicious actions of unscrupulous people and various fraudulent schemes,» said the Manager for the advertising policy Bing Melissa Associati-Patio.

According to her, to protect users from this risk, Microsoft has decided to ban advertising of cryptocurrency related products and unregulated binary options.

According to advertising analysts, Bing, 2017 fraud in this area increased – they had to reject about 25 million ads that fall under these categories.
