Microsoft has ceased to accept direct bitcoin payments

Microsoft has disabled it on its website for direct payment of purchases of bitcoins. Instead you can now only contribute to the balance of a certain amount in USD which will then be converted into bitcoins.

In December of 2017 to accept bitcoins stopped the popular game service Steam. Representatives of the company said that the reasons for this decision were the high Commission and significant fluctuations in the prices of bitcoin.

However, even partially once from bitcoin, Microsoft remains a major player in the industry of the blockchain.
