According to the publication Prensa Latina, during a meeting, «Maduro urged ALBA to the joint consideration of creating a cryptocurrency petro».
«I urge you to take petro as a common currency of our people,» said Maduro. «I offer fraternal ALBA governments to consider cryptocurrency petro, which we could take as one of the integration projects of the XXI century».
