American brokerage company TD Ameritrade has found a new way of using a distributed registry, making a series of 68 transaction to embed your logo in the blockchain of Bitcoin.
While financial companies around the world invest a lot of money in various options to use the technology of the blockchain from retail payments to syndicated lending, TD Ameritrade has found a more modest application.
«The function of the blockchain called OP_Return, which works similarly to place for records on the receipt, allows you to place simple messages and symbols,» the company said.
Combining 68 separate transactions, each of which contains 80 characters, TD Ameritrade gradually «drew» the image of its logo in the form of a flag.
«The blockchain is a wonderful technology and we are proud to be a part of it. Through a series of transactions, we became the first brand to place advertising in the blockchain. We are trying to find new ways to use new technologies», – told in TD Ameritrade.
